In my pursuit of insulation, I had every indication that it, too, would be equally frustrating. I received estimates from five different companies… When asked specifically what my resultant R values would be, the standard answer was, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll take care of it.’ … In absolute frustration, I went to seek advice from my Dad. He asked if I had gone to J.A. Jubb yet. You had done his rental property, and did it so thoroughly, It is still heated with electric heat today.
The rest is pleasant history! You have completed my house and I can find nothing wrong. I’m confident that my first heating bill will reflect the quality of your work.
In addition:
- You made 3 separate visitations to my work site, at my request, to advise me what to do in preparation for your workers – all suggestions added to my future comfort. NO CHARGE
- There were two other visitations you made, not at my request, to insure your excellence and to insure that my needs were being met. NO CHARGE
- You were originally scheduled to start work during the last week of November 2005. My battle with old age, hospitals and preparatory work for the insulation delayed the project until April – and every time I called to tell you I wasn’t ready yet – you calmly said to call when I was ready. NO CHARGE
- You assured me that I would have high density R38 in my roof rafters – and I do!
- You filled the cavity in the cellar that no other insulation company even noticed.
- You blew in additional insulation over the kneewall area insuring me of approximately R50.
- Additional batts were put on the ceiling also insuring approx. R50.
- You had Dan do my house. This man is so conscientious, he even had you call to be sure the electrical wires were where they should be before he finished.
- Normally, I always say, and justifiably, ‘I could have done a better job.’ Not so with the work
Dan produced. I simply cannot find an error… and all of this was part of the original quote.
Rick, the job you did exceeded my expectations. You truly do put quality in front of quantity. Rest assured, I have a big mouth and the ‘word of mouth’ advertising you get from me will be to your absolute advantage! Please keep the following in mind:
- If you would like to tap into the Manchester, NH market, you are welcome to put your sign on my front lawn – remember, 10,000 cars pass my house a day.
- Please feel free to use me as a reference. I have pictures of your finished product and I will gladly speak to anyone as well as show them pictures of the finished product.
- Park your vehicle at 12 Crooker Road any time you wish.
- When we have our open house, I hope you will join us!
